About the Foundation
The Building Owners and Managers Association of Metro Detroit was founded in 1908 as a professional trade association supporting members who own, manage, or provide goods and services to commercial real estate. BOMA Metro Detroit has a long and strong history of giving back to the industry and helping the greater Metropolitan Detroit community.
In 2024 the Association initiated a Scholarship program for the benefit of its members and member families which set in motion the creation of the BOMA Foundation.
The Building Owners and Managers Foundation of Metro Detroit (BOMA Foundation) was founded in 2025 with a mission to enhance the human and intellectual assets of the commercial real estate industry through education, research, standards, and information. The Foundation is dedicated to continuing to provide financial assistance to individuals with educational aspirations through the Scholarship program.
