Awards - Plan and execute The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) and Leadership programs recognizing excellence in the commercial property industry.
Events/activities:  TOBY & Leadership Awards Presentation, TOBY Judging and Workshops
Professional Development- Plan and execute monthly meetings providing information on industry hot topics, trends, and new technologies and educational opportunities for property professionals.
Events/activities: 4 Monthly Meetings, RPA FMA BOMI Designation Classes, Annual Real Estate Con‐Ed Program, Tech Talks, Lunch and Learns and ReBIZ
Government Affairs - Advances the political and public policy interests of membership through education and advocacy with the purpose of communicating those interests to local, state and federal government leaders.
Events/activities:  Monitor Legislation, Fundraising for BOMA MI PAC, Advocacy Day
Golf - Plan and execute 2 Golf Outings and an environment that enhances networking and sponsor opportunities.
Events/activities: Spring Golf Classic, Fall Golf Classic
Membership - Recruitment and retention of membership; communicate the value of membership and serve as hosts to prospective members.
Events/activities:  Industry presence at events, ambassador for new and prospect members
Supplier - Create opportunities for allied professional (supplier) members that add value through events and activities.
Events/activities: Trade Fair, Mixers, social FUN and voice of the Allied/Vendor membership
Community Affairs - Plan and execute projects that enhance the communities where we live and work while building relationships within membership.
Events/activities: Community Works Projects– Bike Build, Food Drives, Hats and Mittens, Adopt a Park, Detroit Fire Hazmat Station
New Professionals- Work to engage new professionals within industry by providing opportunities to build relationships, increase industry knowledge, and enhance development in leadership
Events/activities: Networking Events and Educational opportunties geared towards those with 10 or less years in the industry
Communications - Develop and implements a variety of communications for the benefit of the membership and, in particular, to make BOMA Detroit a preeminent resource for various media inquiries related to our industry.
