FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BOMA of Metropolitan Detroit Announces 2002 Presidents Award WinnersDETROIT, MICHIGAN- The Building Owners and Managers Association of Metropolitan Detroit (BOMA) held its annual Leadership Awards Dinner Friday night at the Wintergarden in the Detroit Renaissance Center. These awards are considered to be the most prestigious awards in commercial real estate management in Metro Detroit. Over 300 building owners and property managers were in attendance. President Cynthia McDonell, CPM, RPA, of Colonnade Properties, L.L.C. and President of BOMA of Metro Detroit stated, "We have so many outstanding volunteers that I would like to thank. Without you and the efforts of our many dedicated Committee members, we would not have been able to accomplish what we have today, such as a Michigan Coalition, statewide advocacy, an award-winning publication, monthly educational workshops, monthly meetings, highly respected awards program, excellent golf outings and many other great opportunities for networking." This year, she presented the President's Award to the Co-chairs of the BOMA Office Building of the Year Awards (TOBY) Committee, Karen Wells, RPA, Vice President and Property Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle and Pat Wilson, Vice President of Marketing, for Colman-Wolf Supply Company.
