BOMA International elects local real estate executive President of North Central Region

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., July 21, 2003 – Paul Beitz, Senior Vice President of Trammell Crow Company in Detroit, MI, was elected President of the North Central Region for the Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA) during their Annual Convention, held in San Francisco, California. The North Central Region includes Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky.

Beitz was elected to BOMA International’s Executive Committee in June 2002. As a member of the Executive Committee and President of BOMA’s North Central Region, he will provide strategic guidance on the functions of BOMA International, which is the nation’s leading advocacy group for the commercial real estate industry with over 130 chapters nationally and internationally.

Mr. Beitz has 15 years of property management and leasing experience in all product types including retail, industrial, office and medical. After 10 years experience with the national firms of Premisys Real Estate Services and Koll Management Services, Paul joined Trammell Crow Company in 1997. He has served various capacities with BOMA of Metropolitan Detroit and served as President of the local association for two terms, from 1997 through 2000.

Mr. Beitz holds a BS from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and an MBA from Michigan State University, Lansing. In conjunction with the new appointed position, he is the Chairman of the E-Commerce Committee for BOMA International, Member of the Board of Advisors for Black’s Guide and Board of Directors Member for CORENET Michigan.
