The second breakout session, 2004 Update on Building Codes Changes &
Implications, featuring Wayne Jewel, Building Official, City of Southfield, will be held from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Changes in building codes and regulations are a consistent concern for building owners, property managers, facility managers, and leasing professionals. This presentation will educate industry professionals about recent changes in the National and Michigan Building Codes related to the electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and energy aspects of their building and property. It will also inform professionals how the impact of these new codes could affect their business.
