We Are BOMA

Founded in 1908, BOMA of Metro Detroit is a professional trade association whose 300+ members either own or manage commercial real estate, or provide goods and services to the industry. BOMA of Metro Detroit provides commercial real estate professionals with the opportunity to work together for professional growth, advocacy rights, corporate profit, and the benefit of the nine Southeastern Michigan communities it serves.

BOMA of Metro Detroit’s mission is to actively and responsibly represent and promote the interests of the commercial real estate industry through effective leadership and advocacy, through the collection, analysis and dissemination of information, and through professional development.

BOMA Michigan, a professional advocacy coalition comprised of BOMA of Metro Detroit, BOMA Grand Rapids & BOMA Mid-Michigan, is the leading voice of the commercial real estate industry before Congress, federal agencies, and state, provincial and local governments. BOMA Michigan represents organizations managing more than 250 million square feet of office and industrial space and paying tens of millions of dollars annually in Michigan and local taxes. Their employees and tenants represent more than 1.25 million people in Michigan.

Eligibility:
You should be a member of BOMA if you are a building owner, property manager, asset manager, corporate facility manager, leasing professional, medical office building professional, or anyone supplying products or services to the commercial real estate industry.
